Ivan Tronci, our globetrotting chef, has decided to put down roots in his native Otranto with an ambitious and exciting, healthy and tasty new project: ViaPunta7.
Many of you may be wondering what ViaPunta7 is. We explain it to you, no pun intended, giving you an absolute preview because Ivan Tronci is at home with Foodismo and we can count ourselves lucky to have organized food and wine trips together with our superchef.
Do you remember the various menus he has launched on our platform, such as the “Radici: Experiential Tour of Salento in 5 courses” menu , the very tasty “In Praise of Spring ‘ menu or the much-loved ’Fish & Fruits: Ivan Tronci’s New Year’s Eve menu”?
So many of you have written in for recipe information. Well, forget all about it. Close your eyes and take this new long journey together with us, without moving from Otranto.
ViaPunta7 Otranto: a Fingerfood Project by Ivan Tronci
Let’s start unveiling with this small subtitle with great emotional content, what ViaPunta7 is all about.
Ivan Tronci’s ViaPunta7 is a “non-place” of dining.
First of all, Punta 7 is a “non-place of dining.”
You are surely wondering why we at Foodismo call it a “nonplace.”
“Non-place” of catering because such a location, such an innovative concept, does not exist in Salento. It is not a classic restaurant location. Continue this journey with us and you will understand why.
Ivan Tronci’s ViaPunta7 is a fingerfood project.
Yes, you got it right: you will not find the great classics of sea or land cuisine such as mussel peppered or eggplant parmigiana. In ViaPunta7, thanks to the mastery in the kitchen of Ivan Tronci, you will have the opportunity to enjoyminiaturized haute cuisine, at affordable prices.
Miniaturized haute cuisine, you read that right. Here you will find never-before tasted recipes at your fingertips. Recipes that are explosive, full of flavor and above all healthy for your body. In bonbon format .
Ivan Tronci’s ViaPunta7 will make Otranto the new navel of the world.
You may be wondering why we make such a firm and convincing statement. We, of course, are ready to give you all the relevant explanations.
Ivan Tronci’s ViaPunta7 will make the city of Otranto the new navel of the world, the center of a real food and wine revolution.
How will all this be possible? We have had an indiscreet look at the menu, which is strictly top secret, and we can assure you (from what we have read and from what we have tasted-which you, for the moment, can enjoy with your eyes in photos) that it represents a journey: from Salento and Otranto (Ivan Tronci’s roots) to the whole world (his home), round trip.
Ivan Tronci’s ViaPunta7: the staff
Supporting Ivan Tronci:
- Giacomo Troisi, a very young chef with an international outlook who previously worked alongside Ivan Tronci and Heinz Beck, for several years;
- Antonio Blandolino, a friend of Foodismo (he cooked for us during our first birthday in the “Radici” event) and a faithful collaborator of our chef in Pergola in Rome;
- Francesca Tronci, skilled between the stove and desserts, who has also worked around the world along with Ivan, her brother, and Heinz Beck.
“ViaPunta7: a fingerfood project by Ivan Tronci”: upcoming opening.
We cannot reveal the opening date. We talked about it with Moreno Falconieri, patron of ViaPunta7, and we have to keep it quiet.
What we are allowed to show you, however, are these shots of the dishes.
To find out the opening date, stay tuned to Foodismo!
Enjoy your Appetite!
